To ensure sustainability, a fee structure for athletic events is also being implemented. In addition, a new 'Sport and Nature' program will promote external activities such as hiking and multi-adventures in Soria's natural settings for schoolchildren.
The Copa Diputación de Fútbol will continue this season with a budget of €9,500 dedicated to supporting amateur football, encouraging both male and female participation. This season, modifications to the competition format will ensure all teams maintain a chance to compete without immediate elimination, further promoting community involvement. These initiatives underscore the Diputación de Soria's dedication to nurturing local sports initiatives and supporting their municipalities effectively.
Sergio Frías, deputy in charge of the Sports Commission, emphasized the importance of these efforts in enhancing sports participation at both local and school levels, aiming to instill a strong sporting ethos within the community.
