FIFT Launches First Strategic Plan for Football Development in Tenerife

The Federación Interinsular de Fútbol de Tenerife (FIFT) has unveiled its inaugural strategic plan aimed at benefiting all affiliates, including clubs, players, coaches, and referees. This significant initiative comes with a historic investment of 800,000 euros for the 2025/26 season, marking a pivotal moment in the federation's efforts to enhance football development in the region.

Alejandro Morales Mansito, the president of FIFT, highlighted the importance of this undertaking during the recent General Assembly, declaring it "one of the greatest changes in the history of our football." This funding is noted as the largest financial commitment that the federation has made to date, underscoring FIFT's resolve to support and grow the sport in Tenerife.

As part of the strategic plan, the federation reported a 27% increase in funding from audiovisual rights, which has climbed to 240,000 euros for the year 2025. This boost is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the financial underpinnings of local clubs.

Additionally, the launch introduces a new 'CLUB DESCUENTO FIFT', which will provide affiliates with exclusive discounts and offers from partner businesses in the community, further expanding the support network for those involved in Tenerife's football scene. The commitment also includes the creation of a 'portal del federado', aimed at enhancing financial support systems for affiliates, many of which are being developed for the first time in this strategic plan. These initiatives reflect FIFT's dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all football stakeholders in the region.
