Spain Bolsters Support for Ukraine with €1 Billion Military Aid and Political Unity Ahead of 2026 Budget

Spain has reaffirmed its strong commitment to Ukraine amidst the ongoing conflict, pledging a substantial €1 billion towards military equipment destined for Ukrainian forces. This aid, intended primarily for procurement of US-supplied armaments, comes as part of a sustained effort with similar contributions made last year, signaling a long-term dedication to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, according to José Manuel Albares, Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs (ID 149131).
